Early Life

Born Daniel Hernandez on May 8, 1996, in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York, Tekashi69 comes from a background with a mother from Mexico and a father from Puerto Rico. He did not have the chance to meet his father until he turned nine, having previously believed his father was deceased. However, the reality was that Daniel Sr. struggled with heroin addiction and had been incarcerated.
